What is the difference between buying an online reservation on iParkit and using iParkit Express?
iParkit lets you pay for parking in two different ways.
Online Reservation:
You can tap or click on any location on the map screen and prepay for a time that has a specific start and stop time associated with the reservation. With a reservation, you have in/out privileges during your reservation time.
If you stay past your set reservation time, you will be charged the same reservation rate for your extra time. You are able to adjust your exit time for your reservation after you enter the location, rather than paying at exit. If you don't use your entire reservation time and you leave early, you will not be refunded for that extra time at exit.
iParkit Express:
iParkit Express is our pay-as-you-go platform that allows you to quickly enter and exit the garage with the simple scan of our Express Pass barcode. Simply scan in and scan out using your Express pass. You will be charged upon exit and emailed a receipt. Express is also eligible for LPR (license plate recognition) for a gateless experience. Simply add your vehicle to the app.
Express doesn't provide you with in and out access like a reservation; every time you enter the garage, it will be a new parking section that will be closed when you leave.
Every single iParkit account has iParkit Express and provides discounted drive up rates compared to pulling a ticket at entry.

iParkit Express rates can be seen by going to a specific location and estimating your entry and exit time. Note that because actual arrival and exit times may vary, please overestimate your stay for the best rate estimate.
